The decision by Reed Exhibitions and the Eastern Sports and Outdoor Show to postpone the show with no indication of change that they would allow the sale or display of modern sport firearms and accessories has impacted many attendees who over the years have supported Pennsylvania’s finest program that provides for our nation’s wounded heroes, and hundreds of exhibitors that have pledged support for the L-E-E-K program.

The Eastern Sports and Outdoor Show has been one of L-E-E-K’s premier shows to interact with loyal customers and supporters. Because of the recent announcement by Reed Exhibitions, the L-E-E-K Hunting & Mountain Preserve decided not attend the 2013 Eastern Sports and Outdoor trade show until they change their policy. L-E-E-K is encouraging all their supporters who intended to visit with them to please share a like for them on their Facebook page. Please stay tuned for future fundraisers to help offset the financial loss of the withdrawal, which we believe will be substantial.

With the loss of potential sales of the Action Trackchair, monetary donations, Games of Chance and the newly developed auction packages, L-E-E-K estimates their projected deficit as a result of this decision may exceed $50,000.00. L-E-E-K had hoped use that money to fund the 40-plus veterans they accommodate each year along with scheduled ADA compliant projects. Those who had planned to visit L-E-E-K at the show may visit the L-E-E-K website for additional information on our next mission and suggestions on how you can also serve America’s wounded veterans.
